The Springs

The painting depicts 'The Springs', a popular spot in Portland, Victoria, where the ocean meets the land in a spectacular clash of elements. You can almost feel the spray of the waves as they crash against the rocky ledge, creating a contrast with the serene pools of fresh spring water that emerge from the cliff above. I came across this spot when hiking with a group of friends. We scaled down the cliff to reach the fresh water springs to have a refreshing dip and watch the nature at it's best. Filling up our drink bottles from the springs that fill these rock pools.
