Compass to Kyeema - Section 9 Heysen Trail

This part of the Heysen Trail opens out into wide grassy fields, with soft rolling hills stretching into the distance. It’s a quieter, more open landscape – the kind of place where you can feel the breeze moving through the grass and take in the gentle rise and fall of the land ahead. My painting captures that moment on the walk, standing in the field and looking toward the hills, where the trail disappears into the horizon.
